Fantastic Golf Holidays in Costa del Sol

One of Spain's most famous golf holidays, the Costa Del Sol is renowned for fantastic golf and nightlife. When taking a golf holiday in Costa Del Sol, the jewel in the crown is Valderrama, host to the Ryder Cup in 1997. This region enjoys beautiful landscapes beaches and is rich in cultural heritage. There are more than 70 golf courses along the stretch of the coast. A golfer's paradise, with the highest concentration of courses in continental Europe. You can also enjoy all inclusive golf breaks to the Costa Del Sol and play some of these fantastic courses at excellent value and know exactly what your holiday will cost before you leave.

The area stretches from San Roque (near Gibraltar) to Malaga Airport. The larger golf resorts on the coast include Marbella, Estepona, Fuengirola, and Benalmadena, perfect for a golf holiday destination. In our opinion, this region provides some fantastic options for your golfing holiday. We love the best championship golf courses around Marbella, with Santa Maria, La Quinta, Rio Real and Cabopino golf course among our favourites. Prices from 30 Euros to more than 100 Euros depending on the year and the player's demands.

When should I Play Golf in Costa Del Sol?

The area in Southern Spain is blessed with pleasant weather all year round, an average of 320 days of sun a year, making it perfect for a winter golf break. Enjoy the attractive beaches, a range of leisure facilities, and superb restaurants whilst taking a break for most of the year.

The best season to visit the region is springtime (April to May) or autumn (September to October). Due to the temperate climate and smaller crowds at that time. The diverse offerings of Spain mean that you can find something to appreciate at any time of year.

Summers can be sweltering, particularly in the south, with more tourists. However, cooler temperatures in the north make it the perfect option during the summer if you're worried about it.

Winter temperatures rarely fall below 15c in the region, so golf is enjoyed on the Costa del Sol.

Being asked by a group of your best mates to organise a trip carries a great burden to get it right. Never having done this before I approached another company who were dreadful! Found 360 on Facebook and what a find! From initial discussions with Jeff to organising details with Marie so easy, helpful and pleasant. Numerous queries were dealt with swiftly and efficiently by Marie and already looking at next year for a recommendation from Jeff. The hotel was great, although the drinks were very expensive, and the staff was very good especially the young pro who sorted us out after finding us walking it the wrong direction! All around GREAT and THANK YOU.
Trusted Customer
Great service from 360 Golf - would highly recommend. Very adaptable and reactive to changes in booking. Extremely knowledgeable and thorough, providing many alternative options prior to accepting confirmation. Despite the uncertainty due to COVID, the team were reassuring and happy to provide suggestions should the trip not go ahead. Malaga in February went down a treat, just a shame we couldn't do the golf justice!
