Malaga is the most commonly used airport. For the western region of the Algarve or Sotogrande, it may be worth considering Gibraltar Airport. Flights from the UK into Malaga airport operate from all UK airports with a wide range of carriers serving the route including British Airways, Norwegian Airlines, Easyjet, Ryanair and Jet2. The average flying time is 2 hours and 45 minutes; it’s just a short flight away to play golf in the sun. Want to avoid airline baggage limits? Many courses also include golf club hire with buggies included. You don’t necessarily need to take your own clubs making golf travel stress free.

Take a day trip to Rhonda and visit the Plaza de Toros de Ronda Bullring. Experience the view from Puente Viejo bridge into the El Tajo gorge below. The original Marbella Old Town Tapas Tour is recommended too. Numerous watersports activities are popular and available at most resorts.
