The four-star Aroeira Lisbon hotel opened its doors in 2019 and has become a welcome and popular addition to golf south of the River Tagus. The hotel is a great boutique hotel with just 68 rooms and suites and is a short 40-minute drive from Lisbon airport.

Recently purchased and now under management the Aroeira Lisbon Hotel is set to become The place to stay south of the river. Its location means that it is an ideal base to discover the culture and golf courses in the area with Caparica just 15 minutes away and the beautiful fishing village of Sesimbra just 30 minutes away.

The 66 rooms and 2 suites have either a garden or pool view and are designed in modern times and are spacious with wooden floors throughout and blend into the natural surroundings.

The hotel has its own 36 holes of golf on-site, with Quinta do Peru (25 minutes away), Troia golf course 90 minutes (whether via the motorway or including a 25-minute ferry journey from Setubal), Ribagolfe I & II and Montado golf courses are all  40 minutes away.

The hotel has just one restaurant the InPar restaurant which offers all meals and serves up international cuisine and the very best of local Portuguese using locally sourced ingredients.

Just a short drive to the beach and you will find the Aroeira Beach Bar serving fantastic fresh seafood dishes all with spectacular views out across the sea and beyond.

The Pines bar is the place to be to catch up with friends for pre or post-dinner drinks.
