Wyboston Lakes golf course opened its doors in 1975. This 18 hole layout was designed by Neil Oakden and is located at the heart of the 385 acres Wyboston Lakes Resort. The course carved from the Bedfordshire countryside and lies adjacent to the Lakes of the same name features eight holes with water. At just over 5,985 yards, it may not be the longest course around, but consider the wind that blows off the lakes before grabbing the next club out of our bag. The Wyboston Lakes Golf Course is a testing course but a great challenge to golfers of all abilities. It is highly recommended to returning golfers to the resort.
Wyboston Lakes is Europe's largest privately-owned golf, Conference and Spa Resort. It is located midway between Bedford and Milton Keynes at The Great North Road and the A428. With an 18 Hole golf course and three Hotels to choose from, the resort offers no less than 406 rooms. The three Hotels on-site are The Waterfront Hotel, The Woodlands Event Training Centre or The Willows Training Centre.
A majority of visiting golfers to the resort will choose to stay at The Waterfront Hotel, which has 103 rooms with a choice between a superior, deluxe, suite or junior suite rooms, all furnished in modern tones with super king bed and en-suite bathrooms.
All guests staying at The Waterfront hotel receive free daily use of the 1 Life Health & leisure club, with an extensive array of facilities. The gym has state-of-the-art cardio Signature Life equipment, along with different zones for cable, free weights & spin classes.
Depending on where you choose to stay on-site, each hotel has an excellent venue for food and drink. Guests staying at The Waterfront Hotel will have the option to eat at The Gravel Pit, which offers a fantastic selection of Mezes, burgers, soups, salads, and much more. With extensive and impressive views across the East Lake. This AA One Rosette brasserie has a perfect bar for that pre or post-dinner drinks with extensive Martini and Gin menus, along with wines, spirits and beers, whatever takes your fancy. The third restaurant is located at The Willows. The Cricket Kitchen is a restaurant with an ever-changing menu specialising in good English food and locally sourced ingredients.
