Adjacent to the 1 kilometre long golden sandy beach of Isla Canela beach is the four star Vila Gale Hotel. This spacious four star hotel has extensive grounds with private access across to the beach.

Located just south of the border town of Ayamonte, which itself has a good selection of bars and restaurants and very good seafood.  Guests can view Portugal from the Hotel across the Guadiana river, which itself is good for local fishing trips. There are plenty of other activities such as horse riding, walking, bicycle rental and local watersports too.

The hotel has both an outdoor pool with sundeck and spacious gardens, and an indoor pool including hot tubs which sit at the centre of the Spa and wellness centre.
