When staying at the El Rompido Hotel the walk into the reception is always one of pleasure, the staff are always polite and helpful and always on-hand for your every need. The Hotel is a high four-star property and some confuse it with 5 stars. The Hotel sits overlooks its own two golf courses and is a golf haven. Lounging on the coastline next to a spectacular fishing village in the breathtaking natural surroundings of Marismas del Rio Piedras, a vast natural park located around the mouth of the estuary, the 5-star El Rompido Resort epitomizes charm.

Just a 60-minute drive from Faro airport is all it takes and our driver was polite and professional advising on other activities such as fishing, and water-skiing in the summer months with great golf courses in the area too.

Staying here we always feel comfortable - more a home from home and ideal for small or large groups.

Golf Courses at El Rompido

The North Golf Course 

Because of the steep terrain of the complex, the North Course utilizes it. This course is regarded as one of the top 1000 courses in all of Europe by the Peugeot guide, and it is also one of the best 36-hole golf resorts in Spain.

The South Golf Course

The South course is adjacent to the clubhouse and is split into two distinct courses, each with its challenges and playing environments.

The resort offers a golf all-inclusive holiday option that features unlimited drinks after 5 pm every day.
