Firstly, ask yourself which country you would like to be in. The obvious destinations for golf are Portugal and Spain, and rightly so. Both countries provide a vast number of top-quality golf courses. However, some can be a little remote for family trips, and the last situation you want is a bored family while you are off enjoying some golf in the sun. It really is about finding that happy medium for everyone to enjoy their break.
With this in mind we recommend the following resorts as a starting point for planning your next family golf trip.
For our first suggestion, we start in the Algarve. With year-round Sun, Golf courses aplenty, and stunning beaches, this really does cover everyone’s needs.

If you want to take the children to a water park when you are not enjoying the golf courses, The Aqua Show is situated in Quartiera, a short twenty-minute taxi journey (Uber taxis really are a cost-effective way to get around).
Vilamoura is just a short taxi journey away. The Marina is the perfect place for children, with shops, bars, and restaurants, as well as arcades with small rides. This area will keep the whole family entertained.

For those seeking a variety of activities, the area is home to numerous theme parks, including Peke Park in La Manga. This park offers fun for all ages, from Mini Golf to motorbikes, boats, lilos, and Trampolines. The range of activities ensures that every member of the family, regardless of age, will have a memorable and enjoyable time.
For those looking for something a little faster pace, numerous water sports activities are available along the coastline, with plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy by the whole family.
If you're looking for a golf holiday with all-year-round sun and numerous facilities to suit the whole family, Tenerife is a destination worth considering. The consistent sunny weather ensures that you can plan your activities without worrying about the forecast, making it an ideal choice for a family-friendly golf holiday.
Golf Costa Adeje has everything you need. It is 18km from Tenerife South Airport and 80km from Tenerife North Airport.
With two courses in the area to choose from The Championship is a par 72 18-hole golf course with large rapid greens and doglegs, there is also a 9-hole par 33 course if any of the family would like an introduction to golf, there is also a footgolf option. Adeje is in the heart of numerous attractions, including the award-winning Siam Park, one of the largest waterparks in the world. This waterpark will keep the family busy. With adrenaline junky slides, relaxing spa facilities for Mum and a designated family area, you have everything you need for a perfect day.
Within the area of Adeje, there are numerous bars, restaurants, and shopping malls that are all family-friendly. The coastline offers various water sports and activities for all the family. From whale watching to parasailing, everyone will be happy in the area of Adeje.
