Martin Hawtree is very famous for his tricky-shaped bunkers that stereotypically are shaped like clovers and are generally pretty wide. deceptive, undulating greens And that is effectively what you’ll find here at The Dorset. The Lakeland & Parkland are the longest of the three courses with more than half of the holes where lakes come into play.
The Woodland Course is a little shorter and a Rhododendron Forest is drawn through it. This unique course presents a tough positional challenge and looks fantastic with wall-to-wall flowers lining the fairway on each hole in May & June!
The courses in the summer and winter are both known for playing very differently. The courses play really American in the winter with essential, target-like golf conditions. iThe greens have excellent drainage and due to rainy weather, the course never closes. In the summer when the sun drys the course up almost plays like a links-like golf course.
