This fantastic Trump Turnberry Golf Resort is located on the South-West coastline, perfect for a Scotland golf trip on a prestigious plot of outstanding natural beauty. The area is famed for excellent courses, and the same can be said of Turnberry with the famous Ailsa course and the Robert the Bruce golf course, both on-site and fantastic tests of golf.

Staying at the Trump Turnberry is a must and playing the recently upgraded Ailsa course is on everyone’s bucket list.

All rooms are furnished to the highest of standards. All reflect the history of the resort with hand-carved mahogany beds, deep pile cream wool carpets, marble bathrooms with gold leaf decorating taps, and ornaments surrounding the fantastic free-standing bath. Golf Courses at Turnberry

Ailsa Course

The Ailsa Course is the championship course at Turnberry located in southwestern Scotland on the coast of the Firth of Clyde, only 20 miles from Glasgow. The course, which has hosted the Open Championship four times, The Ailsa Course, which opened in 1909, was designed by six-time Open champion Willie Park Jnr and his brother Mungo. The Ailsa –which has been voted one of the top 100 courses and was the venue for the dramatic "Duel in the Sun".

King Robert the Bruce Course

This is the old Kintyre course which was redesigned in 2017. The King Robert the Bruce Course at Turnberry is a great place to play golf. The views from the summit of Bain's Hill are amazing, and the new layout of the 8th hole is fantastic. The course now offers both breathtaking views and clever design. We highly recommend playing here.

Restaurants and bars at Turnberry

Guests staying here can indulge in great food in the numerous restaurants on offer, all with fantastic views across the resort and both golf courses. You may choose from the signature restaurant 1906 (the year the hotel opened), which serves a local collection dish with a second-to-none menu. In addition, one can take light lunch at the heart of the resort at The Grand Tea Lounge bar & at dusk, it provides a fantastic selection of pre-dinner cocktails. Finally, the World’s finest halfway house can be found at the Lighthouse Halfway House overlooking both courses and the incredible coastline, an excellent place for a quick snack while pondering your last nine holes of golf.
