Darley Links is part of the three golf courses and part of the Troon Links. Troon Darley is quite possibly the toughest of the three courses.
With thick and punishing yellow gorse, tight fairways, and abundances of heather, keeping the ball in play from the tee is the greatest challenge you will face when playing a round at Darley Links.
Although there is no view of the Firth Of Clyde, the firm and subtle undulating terrain certainly makes you aware that you are playing a good old fashioned link course and with deep pot bunkers and prevailing winds.
The Darley Links is a very fair test, and the course is set up to suit a good mix of handicap golfers. Although doesn't offer the same experience as playing some of the classic links courses on this spectacular coastline, This Links course is well worth adding to a tour in the Aryshire region. The value for money is incredible, and the levels of service provided from the clubhouse shared with the Lochgreen course and the Fullarton Course are second to none.
If playing 36 Holes of golf in one day excites you, then adding Troon Darley and Troon Lochgreen will make for a fantastic day of golf on your next golf tour.
One of the great benefits of adding Darley to your next golf tour is its location to Troon's open town, where the locals are waiting to welcome you for a wee dram.
