Situated along the sunny Suffolk Heritage Coast in East Anglia. The Thorpeness Hotel & Golf Club, the hotel offers a great escape and plays golf on one of the famous James Braid-designed golf courses. Its unique location is next to the famous Thorpeness Meare and is just a five-minute walk from the beach.

Facilities

The rooms are spacious and appointed in traditional styling with great views out over the golf course and the sea. All have a private bathroom with either a patio area or a balcony complete with tables and chairs.

There is one main restaurant here, Ogilvies offers a fantastic range of Grill House classics with a wide range of steaks along with catch-of-the-day fresh fish in a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast can be taken in Braids bar adorned by golf memorabilia and reflects an excellent golf bar atmosphere. Braids, open all day and has an extensive menu to choose from as well as the odd drink or two both pre or post-dinner.
