Wales as a nation has an extensive collection of golf courses with many most of us have never even heard of – some however we have. The Vale Resort, Which is so popular for golfing weekends is situated in the Vale Of Glamorgan on just 650 acres, just a short 15 minutes drive from the heart of vibrant Cardiff with its bars restaurants and St Davids waterfront. As well as a short distance from Bristol Airport.
The Vale Resort is a self-contained beautiful Welsh countryside resort and firm favourite for all National and International sports teams. Both rugby and football accommodated here; with indoor and outdoor 3G pitches along with a swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gym and cryotherapy chambers to help speed recovery.
Where to play Golf: The Wales National & The Lakes
Championship golf is very much high on the agenda here with green fees available on the resort with two golf courses The Wales National course and the Lakes course. The fully equipped golf shop serves both golf courses with an on-site driving range available too. The Lake Golf Course was the first to be built, with the Hotel, then Wales National course followed closely behind. Now the resort boasts two championship golf courses.

The Vale Resort in the Vale of Glamorgan offers other activities too; specifically, the award-winning Vale Spa having received recognition as Wales Best Resort Spa three years in-a-row commencing in 2017.
