The 4th hole, a par-5, provides a good example of what to expect in this course. The tee shot is long and uphill, which is tough, but the fairway is bordered by out-of-bounds to the left and rough to the right. The remainder of the hole plays downhill, but the fairway narrows considerably closer to the green, which has two bunkers protecting the putting surface.

Pestana Pinta course has played host to the European Seniors Tour Qualifying final no less than 8 times, and after one round on the course, it is easy to see why it is so highly regarded.
