The Boavista Golf Course, designed by Howard Swan, is difficult to play, especially holes 6 and 8, where golfers must drive the ball over a ravine.

The course opened in 2002 and was designed with the natural contours of the terrain in mind and made sublime use of the surrounding landscape, providing views of rare beauty over the Bay of Lagos (east) and Serra de Monchique (north).

The excellent conditions for course maintenance, the variety of its holes, and the beauty of its surroundings make Boavista Golf & Spa a one-of-a-kind experience for all visitors. The course is divided into two sections and begins with a winding slope in hole 1, par-4, surrounded by subtropical vegetation and beautiful and harmonious properties.

The first nine holes take players to the resort's highest point, where the 9th Tee is a must-stop for those who want to take in the breathtaking panoramic views.

The golf course has an exclusive area for your short game with three separate greens, one for chipping, one for putting, and a third surrounded by bunkers. Also available is a driving range and a fully stocked pro-Shop.
