The Vila Gale Lagos is located just a short distance from the Meia Praia beach in Portugal's Algarve and just a 60-minute drive from Faro International Airport. This four-star property is rated one of the best in the Algarve, and this low-rise two-storey hotel is nothing but impressive. The Hotel is shaped in a huge V surrounding its huge pool area and spectacular gardens. The location of the hotel means that it is just a four-minute taxi journey into the ever-popular Lagos Marina area and just 6 minutes to the centre of Lagos itself. This impressive hotel has fantastic views from all rooms across the gardens and out over Lagos and Meia Praia Beach and beyond.

Golf

Just an 8-minute drive will take you to the fantastic 27-hole Palmares golf course, a 10-minute drive will take you to Boavista golf course. 15 minutes away you will find Espiche GC and 20 minutes to Sir Henry Cotton's Penina Championship golf course.

Facilities

There are two extensive outdoor pools, an indoor pool with a wellness centre and a spa. The Dog and Duck Bar is popular for pre-or post-dinner drinks, with the Vila Gale cafe adjacent to the pool open all day long.

Dining

There is just one main restaurant on-site. The "Versatil" restaurant offers International cuisine and a good selection of local Portuguese dishes.
