Alamos golf course opened for play in 2006, making it a relatively new addition to the golf break scene in the Algarve. Alamos Golf is part of the Nau Hotels and Resorts and sits at the Morgado de Reguengo Resort's heart.

The golf course is not the longest and measures just short of 4,800 yards from the back tees.  However, accuracy off the tee is paramount as the fairways are narrow and technical in design. A careful gaze is always required of all the golfers before making the next shot into the small undulating greens.

The additional facilities here are plentiful, with 2 practice Tees, 2 chipping greens, and an extensive golf academy. The large clubhouse also houses the restaurant, bar, and a fully stocked pro shop. Although not essential, our recommendation here would be to take a buggy. Some walks from green to tee are farther than they first look.

A great test of golf for golfers of all abilities and a great addition to the Algarve's already varied and pretty extensive golf course portfolio.

Alamos Golf is located on the Morgado Resort in the Portuguese Algarve. Slightly further inland than many other golf courses in the Albufeira region, Alamos Golf remains very easy to reach thanks to links with Faro Airport. Anyone flying to the Algarve for a golfing break will be landing in Faro, so even with the flight time in mind, it’s possible to leave the UK and be on the first tee in a matter of hours.

Situated in Morgado de Reguengo, the Alamos golf is perfect for a Portugal golf break.  Alamo is an established layout and has previously hosted the Portuguese Open on the European Tour Circuit.
