The latest edition of the Dye Portfolio, the West Cliffs golf course in Portugal is a true championship golf course winding its way adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean with views from every hole either overlooking the ocean or into and across the Obidos Lagoon near Lisbon.
The golf course will measure 7,003 yards from the black back tees set-up for the better more discerning golfer, the golf course, however, is more than a test for golfers of all abilities with five sets of tees, therefore, giving each hole a different perspective and challenge.
West Cliff is the first golf course in Portugal to be designed by Cynthia Dye, yes another great from "Dye" Design, Cynthia niece to the great Pete Dye certainly has an eye and has taken the natural terrain and maximized the sand dunes and cliff-top to provide a links gem, earmarked to be one of Europes finest. Located just 50 minutes North of Portela International Aiport, running parallel to the Praia D'El Rey beach up into the Obidos Nature Reserve.
West Cliffs golf course is another golf course from the “Dye” Design Portfolio from the niece of the famous Pete Dye, Cynthia Dye has taken this rugged natural landscape and created yet another Bucket List golf course.
