The La Manga North Golf Club North, shorter and more strategic than the South, makes excellent use of the gullies that consume in the fairways that provide a tough strategic test. The greens have been completely renovated to USGA specs. The north is more undulating than the south, although much flatter than the trellised treelined golf course in the west.
The South Course opened in 1971, Arnold Palmer remodelled the longest golf course in the La Manga complex in 1992 and rebuilt it in 2004. This is a power-rewarding golf course, with lots of par-5s and long par-3s. The South Golf Course has orchestrated Spanish PGA Championships for both men and women and has been the home of the Q-School European Tour for so many years. The South is what most would consider the Championship offer at the La Manga Club.
La Manga West Golf Club was opened in 1992 and offers a welcoming variety to the La Manga complex. The golf course, engineered by Dave Thomas, is routed through pine trees and is much hillier than the other two. The West has rapidly become a new favourite among La Manga guests, a tight contorting golf course that has plenty of blind holes and barrancas to avoid.

The South would be what most consider to be the Championship Course having been used for European Tour events. The West is what the locals might consider to be the most loved. Although the North is an excellent resort style course too.
