Where to Stay: Finca Cortesin Golf Resort

One can only describe the Finca Cortesin golf course as fantastic. This 18 hole championship gem sits up in the hills overlooking Casares. The location is near perfection in the heart of the countryside in Spain yet still only 10 minutes from Casares Marina and 15 minutes from Estepona. The resort is also well situated for trips to Marbella or Sotogrande too.

The Costa del Sol, or Golf as it is now known, has over 80 golf courses stretching along its coastline. One of the newest, just 14 years old, is the fantastic Finca Cortesin golf course. Situated just a mile or so inland from the ocean, the golf course runs up through the valley adjacent to the village of Casares. This 18 Hole Championship golf course is one of the longest in Europe, measuring just over 7,400 yards from the back pegs.
