The first golf course to mention is Alcanada golf course, an 18 hole measuring 6559m, it is relatively young opening in 2003. With its stunning sea views overlooking The Alcudia Bay with a view of the coastal light house, it is lined with Olive groves and pine trees.

This course really does have it all, with the 1st being parkland style in the trees finishing off with a contrasting seaside finish. Undulating fairways and rapid greens await at this course.

The course boasts a state-of-the-art Golf Academy with driving range supported by Top Tracer. 10 Covered Bays and 10 Outdoor Bays. Extensive short game area for pitching and bunker practise along with 2 undulating putting greens. This course really does lend itself to Professionals and Amateurs alike. Not one to miss out on.

Santa Ponsa Golf In Palma

Moving on to Santa Ponsa Golf Course situated in an exclusive area in Palma and home to one of the longest Par 5s in Europe. This course opened in 1977, known to be a long course it is lined with Pine, Olive and Almond trees. The course has two sister courses which are exclusive members only courses. This course has hosted numerous prestigious events including The Balearic Open and the European Tour.

Measuring 6543 yrds this 18-hole par 72 course is relatively open, allowing the big drivers out there to open their shoulders up with more reward than risk. But don’t be fooled by this as there is numerous dog legs and water hazards waiting to catch you out. The 16th is a particularly challenging hole with water running alongside it, accuracy is key.

With outstanding short game facilities and long game this really is the ideal place for a golf trip with a testing course for all abilities.

Son Vida Golf Course

Son Vida Golf

Son Vida really is a golfer’s paradise. It is part of the Arabella resort made up of three different courses. The fairways are lined with luxurious Mansions that blend in with the natural feel of this course. It is the most famous course in Majorca which is no surprise. It holds the title of being the oldest golf course in Majorca holding numerous exclusive events including events for the European tour.

The first nine hole of this course weave their way through the hillside of Palma, with narrow tree lined fairways. The back nine opens up to scenic views of the hillside and the distant Mediterranean Sea. The greens are large and club selection is vital as a lot of the greens are elevated making it tricky to hit them in regulation.

As you would expect from such a renowned course the facilities are second to none, with a nine-hole Par 3 course ideal for beginners, short game and putting practise facilities it is not hard to see why this course is known as one of the best in Majorca lending itself beginners and established players alike.

Son Muntaner Golf

Son Muntaner Golf was host of The Mallorca Open in 2022 is the sister course to Son Vida, Son Muntaner is considered a benchmark within Europe. This course has been awarded for its customer service and golfer experience.

This course certainly lends itself to the more established golfer with its challenging greens surrounded by water, scattered bunkers ready for wayward approach shots. The greens are notoriously, big meaning the holes play different from one day to the next.

Close to the 15th tee you will find the oldest olive tree in Majorca so make sure you take a drop if you land near that tree!

The greens on this course are the challenge, big greens, subtle undulations combined with quick speed means these greens can easily unnerve you so take your time to read them right.

No surprise the facilities mirror the course and are top notch, with chipping, pitching and bunker practise area along with long game facilities this has everything you need and more for your golf trip.

Golf Son Quint

The third sister course is Golf Son Quintthis course tempts you into being more aggressive with its more open design it appeals to both beginners and advanced players alike. Some stunning views will catch your attention on this course particularly holes 8 and 17th that look out over the views of Palma. This course is generally viewed as less testing than the other two sister courses. There are few big hazards or tricky dog legs, being slightly shorter it is also considered one of the easier courses to walk as there is only a short distance from green to tee.

The back nine certainly plays tougher than the front nine with undulating fairways and rapid greens this is by no means a course to be considered easy to plot your way round.

As with its sister courses the facilities are second to none, a 60 Sqm practise area is located next to the restaurant, this resort also has the added luxury of Physiotherapy for those golfers with aches and pains.
