Real Golf de Bendinat started life as a 9 hole golf course in 1986 but has since been expanded to a full 18 hole golf course. Designed by Martin Hawtree and located on the island of Mallorca, near the capital city of La Palma, the fabulous golf course nestles in a wooded valley and offers tremendous views of the bay of Palma and Bendinat Castle.
The course plays to 6,190 yards from the back tees, which is short by modern standards and makes the golf course accessible to players of all abilities. There are two tee boxes on each hole, red and yellow, with the latter being the longest.
Despite the course being quite short, accuracy is key off the tee thanks to the tree-lined fairways. Water occasionally comes into play and the greens are well protected by bunkers. Due to the length of the course, measuring at a par 70 and features four par-3 holes, twelve par-4 holes, and two par-5 holes, the latter of which can both be found on the back nine.
The quality of the golf course at Real Golf de Bendinat is superb and it is well maintained throughout the year. With previous guests including HRH Prince Andrew the Duke of York, Michael Douglas, and Ángel Cabrera, We highly recommend a round here when staying in Mallorca.
