There are many great golf courses to play when in the South-West of Mallorca, two golf courses to choose from are the Son Antem West Course, the most recent addition having opened for play in 2001. Designed by Francisco Lopez-Segalés, the Course is considered to be the more technical of the two golf courses at this venue.

Son Antem Golf is located on the island of Mallorca, Spain. It is situated to the southeast of the capital, Palma, and can easily be reached within 25 minutes from the city or the airport.

The course plays to 6,882 yards from the back tees but there are four tee positions on each hole. There are three large lakes that come into play on five holes and the greens are well protected throughout by water and bunkers.

The back nine holes at Son Antem Golf West Course are the real challenge on this course. The fairways become narrower as the round progresses and the greens more undulating. Accuracy is key for a low score when playing Son Antem Golf West Course. Both tee shots and approach play to the greens need to be well thought out on what is an exciting test of golf.
