Discover this hidden treasure of Turkey golf just 25 minutes from Belek, Antalya. The Lykia Links Golf Club features a unique golf course that is a wonder to behold. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking views of natural sand dunes and uneven fairways that together form a classic links landscape.

It is so different from the rest of the courses in the region. Perry Dye, the Son of the legend of Pete Dye, has designed some stunning golf courses over Europe, including one of my favourites in the Costa del Sol, San Roque Old Course.

The course overlooks a classic links landscape with natural sand dunes and uneven fairways.

A most notable difference from the surrounding courses in Belek is its length; it is long!

A Long Golf Course

Playing nearly 7,600 yards from the back tees, you will find yourself playing all manors of exciting and imaginative golf shots, Drivers from the deck putts from 30 yards, and Flop shots from the sandy dunes.

In the height of the summer, these fairways are so firm, and the greens almost impossible to land on, but if you like playing a different style of golf (and believe me, links are not for everyone), Then make sure to tick this off of the wish list.

Pro Tip, "This is a risk-and-reward golf course; take a chance where possible the slopping fairways often favour low running shots and will always give you a chance to get close to pins with the right method of stroke. The greens are not as fast as everywhere else in the region, so you can really try to find the back of the cup and make a score."
