Firstly under new ownership, the entire Resort has received a multi-million Euro upgrade. Painstaking attention to detail has upgraded the standards of the resort even further. The improvements have taken just over 18 months to complete and to ensure that every guest staying has a memorable stay in every aspect of their stay. Carton House Golf indeed is established with two fantastic championship golf courses. Consequently have already hosted three Irish Opens. You can choose from the Parkland Style of the O’Meara course, as well as the inviting inland links of the Montgomerie.

Accommodation

Accommodation at Carton House golf resort is spread across 169 rooms and suites with some (in fact 18) in the Manor House.  Altogether all rooms in the refurbished Garden Wing are equipped to the highest of standards, where a majority of the bedrooms are located. These 150 bedrooms were tastefully refurbished in 2019.

Dining

A hearty Full Irish Breakfast is a great start to every day, and is now located in the fantastic newly renovated Morrison Restaurant, which is located in The House. Dining here comes in the guise of numerous options with one of the most popular in The Carriage House.  Open daily and serves a selection of traditional Irish Fare. An ideal location for Perhaps you wish to take in a late afternoon coffee and pastry… pre and post-dinner cocktails can be enjoyed here in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Kathleen's Kitchen is a perfect example of where kitchens came from and harps back to the 1700s with cast iron stoves still a feature and a great relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy a simple coffee and wholesome fresh sourdough bread. For those looking for local food then look no further with fresh Irish Oysters, cheeses and locally sourced meats and cuts, an experience not-to-be-missed! The Courtyard Bar is an ideal meeting place to take a pro- or post-dinner aperitif or cocktail or even a pint of "The Black Stuff". The bar itself has a great courtyard experience bringing the inside out and vice versa - a unique place to wine and dine your evenings away. An exclusive Venue has to be The Whiskey Library. The name says it all with a place of quiet reflection where you can enjoy one or two or perhaps three wee drams from a wealth of high-end Whiskey's. A perfect place to take a journey of a lifetime choosing your perfect blend before your stay is over - an enjoyable way to end a perfect evening.

Spa and Facilities

For those guests looking to keep fit or just indulge where the stars have been before (no name dropping) but a favourite place Queen Victoria, Grace Kelly and more recently Prince Rainier. Located within the grounds of this fantastic walled estate, a little personal pampering is always welcome. The Spa has an array of treatments and has no less than 7 treatment rooms. Pre and post massages and treatments can be enjoyed relaxing in the sauna or steam room. Perhaps a plunge in the indoor swimming pool or jacuzzi, whatever you choose you are sure to leave relaxed and rejuvenated.
