01992 763660International Olympic Academy Golf Course is a ground-breaking "World First", although Greece is still relatively new to golf and that golf was only added to the Olympics in 2006. The golf course was one of two on-site golf courses designed by Jose Maria Olazabal.
The course is located at Navarino Hills, these rolling hills have outstanding views down and across Navarino Bay and out across the Ionian Sea. The course measures 6103 meters (6,713 yards) from the white Tees and for those who play a longer ball yet still, the black tees measure just short of 7,000 yards. A fantastic test of golf and one that sets the standard for all to follow.
Onsite here is the Navarino Golf Academy set up to put down a platform for golf in Greece to expand and provide the very best facilities for both amateurs and professional golfers to expand and improve their game. The Academy has facilities for golfers from all walks of life from individuals through to couples, juniors and Groups.
