01992 763660This fantastic Links golf course sits in a magnificent setting. Unusually for a links course, it has no sandhills surrounding it. Therefore, the view here is stunning. There are views across to Somerset and Exmoor and North-west to Swansea Bay and the Gower Peninsula beyond.
The design of the course means that every hole facing every point on the compass means that the wind at every hole will test you. The status of the golf course is such that golfing greats such as Watson quote "There is not a weak hole on it and it would make an ideal Open Championship Venue"
The golf course opened its doors way back in 1851. It has hosted an array of events such as The Amateur Championship, The Walker Cup, The Curtis Cup, The European Team Championship, and the Hotel internationals of The Vagliano trophy, The Ladies British Open Championship, The Dunlop Masters, The Penfold & The Ladies European Tour.
It is no wonder that the course is rates No1 in Wales, 23rd in the Uk and 66th in the World Top 100.
In summary, it is a bucket-list must play golf course when in Wales.
