This is a fantastic 54-hole golf resort that has become one of the go-to destinations for golf in Spain. The climate is great all year, so players can enjoy playing a round of golf at Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club during the winter months and this attracts plenty of visitors.
Located in the province of Cadiz, Andalusia you will find Playa de la Barrosa, which is a long sandy beach stretching some 6 kilometres across the coast. Step inland and within a few hundred meters you will come to this tremendous golf club.
There are three 18-hole golf courses to enjoy, two of which have been designed by Seve Ballesteros. Course A (Sea Pines) is known for the three main water hazards and wide fairways on the front nine holes. The back nine becomes a little trickier as pine trees can come into play. Course B (Centre) features a lake between holes 5, 8 and 9 but is mostly flat throughout. However, the back nine holes are more undulating, with water coming into play between holes 10 and 13.
The third course is called ‘Campano’ and the front nine is reminiscent of a British parkland course while the back nine has three lakes and large greens. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to playing golf at Sancti Petri and can easily spend a week enjoying the golf and facilities.
