Where To Stay:-
Set in the countryside just a short ride away from Paphos, Cyprus, you will find the 18 Hole Championship Minthis Golf Club
Golf at Minthis is a one-of-a-kind and characterful experience, winding its way past a 12th-century monastery with breathtaking views of the Troodos Mountains and beyond. The course was designed in 1994 by legendary golf architect Donald Steel and renovated by renowned course designers Mackenzie & Ebert. It is a perfect example of their philosophy that golf courses should fit into the terrain, be in keeping with their setting, and focus on the details.
The 18-hole championship golf course at Minthis follows the topography's natural undulations, looping past ancient groves, hundreds of olive trees, and fruit orchards. This is a course for all seasons that will challenge and delight golfers of all levels. It incorporates the essence of the landscape and boasts awe-inspiring vistas and outstanding holes. The stunning par-three, 15th signature hole, where the tee shot is played to Cyprus's only island green, is without a doubt a highlight.
Minthis Golf Club has a Driving Range, Putting green Chipping Green, and 3 Hole Academy course, as well as a comprehensive Golf Academy for those just beginning, or for those looking to polish off one of the many errant shots that we all occasionally experience.
Although there are only four golf courses in Cyprus Minthis is in itself a very different animal to any of the other three and has fantastic views from the golf clubhouse whilst enjoying the delights of the 19th hole bar.
Highly recommended, and very popular with our golfers returning to the island again and again.
