Having played here I can say Liphook deserves its position as Hampshire's only Top 100 course. This classical heathland layout offers:

Southampton's Hidden Gem
This parkland beauty has recently undergone significant improvements, and I've seen handicaps of all levels enjoy its challenge. Features include:

Justin Rose's Home Course
This historic club holds a special place in Hampshire golf, and I've watched it evolve into one of the region's finest tests. Notable features:
Local Knowledge: The par-5 17th is reachable in two, but the risk-reward balance here has ended many good rounds - lay up unless you're feeling particularly confident!
The course is a picturesque parkland and forest hybrid with several distinctive golf courses and elevated tees, including some that offer panoramic views. The course displays a wide range of holes that are all distinctive, but the last stretch may give you something to think about. The 15th is a short par-4 that plays incredibly uphill and has two levels of greens. The steep hill and dogleg left means the journey isn't for the faint of heart.
New Forest's Finest

Challenging tree-lined fairways
Brockenhurst Manor Golf Course, located in Brockhurst in the New Forest town, is another fantastic course in Hampshire. The Harry Colt layout measures 6238 yards from the first tee and is rated 70. A lovely natural wooded/heathland course with trees, ferns, and huge bunkers lined up along the holes.
Established in 1913, Blackmoor was designed by legendary designer Harry Colt whose original plan has endured the test of time. Set near the lovely South Downs, you start off at a relatively innocent par-4 where a very well-struck drive should help you to get over a ditch in the fairway. For short hitters, putting the ball up is a great move. From that point, the difficulty increases substantially.
Hockley Golf Club was established in 1914 and designed by famed course architect James Braid. This is a fantastic course with beautiful views of Winchester.

There are many beautiful golf courses in Hampshire, but if we had to choose just one, it would have to be the North Hants golf club. With its lovely setting in the countryside and picturesque views, this course is a must-play for any golfer. The Northern Hants course is gorgeous and meanders through forests, gorse-flecked hills, and other features.
