01992 763660The latest in Algarve golf course design, opened on September 1, 2026, owned and operated by Pestana Resorts Ferraguda, is set to be the Matriarch of all of Pestana's six championship golf courses in the Algarve.
This Championship golf course was designed in-house by Pestana and features a Parkland layout, making full use of the natural terrain. Some historic ruins have been blended into the course, which also includes a chapel which is featured around holes 9, 10, 12 and 13.
The finishing 18th hole is the signature hole, whose approach is guarded by a lake, which will all be overlooked by the new clubhouse, including a restaurant with a view.
By far the most exciting golf course in the Pestana portfolio, and one that will be a star of the future.
