The Costa Teguise Golf Course is a traditional course and is situated at the foothills of an old volcano with impressive views of the Atlantic Ocean.
This 18 Hole Par 72 Championship golf course was designed by the British architect John Harris and opened its doors in 1978 making it the very first golf course to be built on the island.
The course runs around the slopes of an old volcano, weaving its way between the naturally occurring hazards of the volcanic lava, cactus, and palm trees. This clever use of the natural terrain means that the cleverly placed hazards make the course a test for the best of golfers and whatever your handicap you will probably be making use of all the clubs in your bag.
A preferred choice of the two courses on the island for golfers returning to the island - highly recommended and our favourite course.
