Where to Stay: Cornelia Diamond Golf & Spa
The 27 Hole Nick Faldo Championship Course was first constructed as an 18 hole course in 2006 and an additional 9 holes were added to what Sir Nick called “an exceptional piece of land".
The Clubhouse is stunning with open-plan space, leading you through the reception, Pro Shop, and restaurant and bar area through to a simply stunning terrace overlooking the course. The three loops of nine holes are considered to be 3 separate course layouts:
The King Course – Holes 1-18
The Queen Course – Holes 10 – 27
The Prince Course – Holes 19 -9
All three layouts are exceptional with varied terrain, challenging doglegs, and plenty of water and sand hazards to make sure that you have your wits about you. The Prince combination is the one that ranks the highest and although being the shortest combination of the three from the Black tees at 6900 Yards, It certainly provides the hardest test of golf from the three combinations. Visually all three-course layouts are arguably the most stunning in Belek with lush fairways surrounded by tall pines and manicured greens.
A fantastic course and a great addition to any all-inclusive golfing trip to turkey
Pro Tip, "Chose your clubs wisely, all three loops can catch out the longer hitters with many of the fairways being very tight with extreme slopes that will kick your ball into trouble, The fairways are designed to roll less so use your course planner well and pick the right club from the tee. If you are the golfer that wants to pull out the driver on every tee and hit as far as DJ and still expect to play to handicap, then this may not be the course for you. This course is a cleaver design and will be enjoyed by golf enthusiasts that remember balata balls and persimmon woods that want to admire incredible land and play the game not just to hit balls with air miles."
