Designed very much later than its noisy neighbor The Balgownie Course at Royal Aberdeen is an absolute classic Scottish Links Layout. With smaller greens, it cuts its way through the sand dunes and dramatic landscaping. The value of accuracy is imperative on the 18th as the wind buffets your every shot. Approach the 18th green with caution as there are many sand guardians making life that little bit more difficult, don’t go long as out-of-bounds is at the back of the green. An absolute must when in the Highland and North East Region.
