We Love the Fuerte Estepona, The Hotel is situated right on the beachfront at Arroyo Vaquero, which has been awarded a blue flag. Just 5 minutes from the Puerto de Estepona, between Gibraltar and the exclusive Puerto Banus.
Valderrama Golf Course is 15 minutes' drive away, and discounted green fees are available at a number of nearby courses. The nearby A-7 and AP-7 roads give direct access to Sotogrande and Puerto Banús in 20 minutes, and Gibraltar in 40 minutes. Private parking is available at the hotel for an extra charge.
The Hotel offers sort after All-Inclusive at the hotel which is fantastically paired with the Costa del Sol's most fantastic courses.
Being located where the hotel is, you have easy access to all of Marbella's amazing golf courses but also opens up the options to tee up at the best courses in the country in nearby Sotogrande.
Why not hit the fairways of local courses like Valle Romano, Dona Julia or El Paraiso.
For more prestigious local courses you have easy access to Valderrama, Finca Cortesin and La Reserva
The Estepona’s spa has a sauna and offers a range of massages and beauty treatments. Other hotel facilities include Balinese beds, tennis, paddle and volleyball courts. The hotel's Forti Club organizes a range of activities for children, and there is an adults-only section with a pool.
For Evenings out Estepona has two main areas that are in our opinion just stunning. The Puerto de Estepona is great for an evening out, You can have beers sat watching the fishing boats come in at Cafe Bar Reinaldo, Italian food at La Pappardella which is in the heart of the Marina, There is the most amazing fish tapas bar (English is very limited) right behind the Marina, the restaurant has an agreement that they get first dips on the livestock that arrives daily into the actively working fishing port.
Why not head into the Old Town, where the main hub where the best restaurants are located in the Plazoleta Ortiz, For amazing Local Fish and Sherry we highly recommend al fresco dining at Restaurante Taberna Miguel. To local meat from Cadiz head over to Restaurante Sur or for more modern Tapas style dining paired with fantastic local wines from Roda why not try La Casa del Rey.
Estepona still manages to maintain the typical Andalusian charm and is so different to more Ex-Pat areas of the Costal del Sol. The cobbled streets where each road has differently coloured flower boxes is just idyllic.
The Fuerte Estepona is a fantastic hotel in one of the most beautiful areas of the Costa del Sol, Spain. The hotel has 210 spacious rooms and apartments with sea or mountain views, designed for enjoying an unforgettable experience in an intimate and relaxed space.
We highly recommend the Fuerte Estepona and it is perfect for smaller groups that want more than just beer and golf, Groups that want to experience traditional Spanish living and fine golf will really enjoy this hotel, The hotel is also perfect for mixed groups where couples can enjoy a bit of romance alongside excellent golf.
Why not book your perfect golf trip to Estepona today!
I love the Fuerte Estepona, Estepona still has the most Andalusian charm and is so different from Ex-Pat towns like Fuengirola and Benalmadena. Valle Romano hosts a lot of prestigious Challenge tour events and has a fantastic academy run by Steven Palmer whos has worked in the area for many years previously running the Micheal Campbel academy at Villa Padierna. The First tee box at Valle Romano is one of the most daunting tee shots on the coastline. All of Sotogrande's wonderful prestigious courses are only 20 minutes away and the BMW Matchplay venue Finca Cortesin only 5 minutes away in nearby Caseras.
"Fantastic Trip, The Fuerte is a great hotel and so easy to get to all of the local golf courses, Los Naranjos was right up the with the best we have played but San Roque was in a different league. Great Trip, thank you 360 Golf Holidays."
