With a population of just under a million people the capital Murcia, is a relatively small city and was originally founded back in 825 by the Emir of Cordoba. The city itself is located on the Segura river, to the Southeast of the Iberian Peninsula. Worth a visit is the huge Cathedral Church Of St Mary is the only Catholic church of Dionese in Cordoba, still in daily use and is one of the largest in the south of Spain.

Prices starting here are from £209 per person, a great hotel for those looking for luxury and pampering in five star surroundings with four star prices.
La Manga Club has three 18 Hole golf courses all with different characteristics, the most sought after course is the par 72, 18 Hole Robert Putman designed (later re-modelled by Jack Nicklaus) Championship South course, measuring some 7,150 yards from the back pegs, it is a long open golf course with strategically placed bunkers, be aware of the long “Barranca” which winds its way across the entire resort and is a natural hazard making the approach shot to many greens a difficult one. The 18th hole is a great finishing hole with water coming into play and the green adjacent to the hotel and swimming pool, surrounded by four bunkers.
Las Lomas Village
Adjacent to the North golf course and resort spa is the Las Lomas Village, made up from the modern view apartments overlooking the North course. “El Pueblo” the old village which has a selection of 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments and townhouses all designed in typical Andalusian style, they have their own separate pool area and an additional pool area at the view apartments next to the spa.
